Royal Museum for Central Africa, Tervuren


El Museo Real de África Central abrió sus puertas a todos los bruxellois para despedirse durante tres años. En este periodo, el centro se renovará para mostrar una cara más moderna y acorde con los tiempos actuales. El museo está situado en un antiguo palacio del rey belga Leopoldo II en la ciudad de Tervuren y alberga una de las colecciones más importantes de arte y cultura africanas, muchas de las cuales han sido traídas de las colonias belgas en África, sobre todo del Congo. El palacio está rodeado de unos magnificos jardines.

The Royal Museum of Central Africa opened its doors to all bruxellois before closing them for the next three years. In this period, the centre will be renewed to show a more modern face in line with the new times. The museum is located in an ancient palace of the Belgian King Leopold II in the town of Tervuren and houses one of the largest collections of art and African culture, many of which have been brought from the Belgian colonies in Africa, especially from the Congo. The palace is surrounded by beautiful gardens.
