Pic-nic

Bamboo backpack from my last trip in the Philippines.

Hi everyone, today we are enjoying the nice weather by doing a pic-nic in the Pierre Paulus park in St.Gilles (my neighbourhood!). The park takes its name from the baron Pierre Paulus de Châtelet (1881-1959), Belgian painter that used to live in St.Gilles.

Hello everybody, today we would like to show you some of the small streets in the center of Brussels. As you can see, there is always something new to make us surprised..like this big door painted at the end of the alley.

Place de Jamblinne de Meux

Pics by Raqui Lago

Spring finally gave us a day of sun, light and heat and we all went outside to recharge our batteries. While having a walk, we bumped into the place Jamblinne Meux, a lovely sunny square with beautiful lime trees and decorated with an industry inspired fountain. Belgium has therefore never tried to hide its glorious past linked to the world of heavy industry, which can be seen in a number of buildings around the country.
