Almost a week later, we propose a slightly different post. It's still linked with fashion, but with clothes a little bit older than you might think of a "vintage" clothes ;-) In this post I show you how I look like a "baturra". As many of you already know, we have retained a nice tradition in Zaragoza: an offering of flowers to the Virgin of El Pilar every October 12 dressed in regional costumes. I'm dressed in a working costume of a peasant in the late XIX century with a skirt, an apron, a shirt, a scarf and a pair of espadrilles (very fashion now). The earrings are a wonderful reproduction taken from an engraving of XIX century, like the pattern of the scarf. You cannot miss this event next year!

Wedding time in Zaragoza

Enhorabuena!

Although we are not use to talk about personal matters in our blog, now it's the time to do it. On Saturday my cousin Beatriz got married with Ruben in Zaragoza and it was a big event for my family. The couple organised a very funny wedding dinner making us participate in their day and sharing with all their songs, gifts and speeches. We laughed, ate and danced all night long. We wish them all the best!

Blowing in the cierzo

For those who do not know, Zaragoza is a beautiful city in the northeast of Spain. I am not going to explain the wonders of my hometown, but one of its most notable features: the wind. A friend told me who named Chicago as the "Windy City", didn’t hear about Zaragoza. Here you have an example of how difficult it is to wear a hat in this city…
