Winter shorts

A cold winter morning wearing shorts? No problem at all! The shorts are not longer just for the summer. With a pair of cozy socks, and combining them with a silk shirt and pullover both from Zara, these Promod camel shorts have become a must this season for their versatility for both office and shopping-day outfits. Always ideals with Oxford and Monk Strap shoes, as these from Topshop. We wish you a happy weekend!

Happy 2014 to everyone! This is our first post of the year! We hope we had a great Christmas and a very fun NYE. We've been away for a couple of weeks since we left to our respective countries to spend Xmas holidays with our families. In my case, Buenos Aires received me very well as usual but this time with very high temperatures. Even at night was so hot that, as you can see in the pictures, I'm wearing shorts (which I generally wear just for the beach). That night I was with my nieces enjoying a very good Mexican restaurant, Lupita, in Puerto Madero. One feature of this neighborhood, is the Puente de la mujer ("Women´s Bridge"). A swing bridge designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. Its appearance is very similar to Samuel Beckett Bridge in Dublin and the Alamillo Bridge in Seville, both also designed by Santiago Calatrava.

A return to the roots

Still on holidays. The Pyrenees (in Aragon) is one of my favorite places in summer since, when I was younger I used to camp here a month with the scouts. While most people prefer to come here during winter, due to its fantastic ski slopes, I love this area in the North of Spain, very close to France, because it's a real haven when I try to escape the stifling heat down in the city. The mountains and the fields are painted in bright green, the river water is so clear you can see the stones sleeping in the riverbed and the beautiful villages are full of stone houses and narrow streets.
