Curtain Style

A mi me parece divina! A ustedes?
Meme.

Hi everyone, this is the first post after civil marriage and I know I had promised to share the photos this week but we'll have to wait until next week! Brussels gave us one last day of summer and I chose this look with a navy t-shirt from Petit-Bateau (for the ones who don't know it, it’s a French brand of children but also has some clothes for adults-I love it because it’s a mix of female and children style) and a midi skirt from H&M which seems made with fabric curtains. It is the typical clothing that you put on and surely someone will make a comment about it! Do you like it? Finally my patent leather shoes from Zara that give a touch of color and are perfect for those days that you know that is going to rain. The necklace is from & OtherStories and the jacket Ben Sherman. Meme.

Rosso e bianco

Hola a tod@s!

Hi everyone! I was away for a few weeks between the visit of my parents, some little trips and the upcoming civil wedding, it was hard to find the time to write you. One of the places I was traveling was Genoa, Italy. It was the place of my first stage in Europe, since I left Buenos Aires, and only returned now (after almost 4 years since I left home). It was a nice experience to go back and walk the same streets, meet friends, but also find new other landscapes, places, together with my parents and boyfriend. Here I am in the gardens of Palazzo Bianco, which is opposite the Palazzo Rosso. Both are on the Via Garibaldi, one of the most beautiful streets of the historic center of Genoa.
I didn't have the opportunity to wear this skirt many times here in Brussels as the weather 'doesn't help' and in fact, I had bought it thinking to wear it for my civil wedding ... both the skirt and the top are from Zara and the sandals from UrbanOutfitters.
See you next week where I'll show you the my outfit for my civil wedding.
Cheers, Meme.

Shining summer

Although this summer has been somewhat unusual because it has been cooler, the sun shone strongly in Europe (well not in Brussels, of course). In addition to Portugal, I spent part of my vacation in El Rompido (Huelva), a very charming coastal village that I usually go every summer in the last years. For an aperitif, I chose this little white dress from Adolfo Dominguez which I love because it is very cool. The silver sandals are from Zara (the best thing I bought this summer), ring from Tous and the sunnies from Victorio y Lucchino. The coming week I will keep on showing you more outfits from my holidays. Meanwhile, enjoy the weekend!

Blue and bright stars

For those who are not familiar with the "Euro-bubble", this building doesn't have nothing in particular. But it is more important than what it looks. This is the Berlaymont, the headquarters of the European Commission, one of the key institutions of the European Union. The building, built during the 60s, is located at the end of the Rue de la Loi (literally street of the Act). The land chosen was then occupied by the "Dames de Berlaymont", a 300-year old convent  which managed a venerable girls' school. Designed by architect Lucien de Vestel, the building has a cruciform design with four wings of unequal size spanning from a central core. The surface area of about 240,000 m² spread over 16 levels can accommodate more than 3,000 officials was built. The first civil servants arrived in 1967, but the building had to be evacuated in 1991, as the construction contained asbestos, a toxic substance. It was renovated and returned to host the Commission since 2004.Pants and bag: Zara / Shirt: Primark / Jacket: Vintage / Shoes: Superga / Watch: Michael Kors

Spanish summertime

Dolce farniente ;-)

Already on holidays! In addition to the weekend in El Rompido, I spent a couple of days in Seville, where it seems the high temperatures are going to melt everything. The summer in Spain is enjoyed from 8pm when people are reinvented and ready to enjoy the best time of day: the sunset having the aperitif on a terrace... Dolce farniente;-)
